"Our rover has two primary tasks, conducting experiments on the moon using its scientific instruments and collecting rock samples using its robotic arms and drill.
Our rover will be the first to drill into the crust of the Moon, which will allow it to gather rock cores from deeper underground, which has never been done before. In addition, it will also be equipped with robotic arms to pick up samples on the surface. It will also be fully automated, allowing it to operate for far longer compared to the earlier lunar roving vehicles which were driven by humans.
It will also take advantage of the Lunar Gateway orbiting the moon, by relaying communications through it and sending samples to it, where humans will analyze the samples instead of having to return samples to Earth."
