"Our robots job is to study different aspects of the moon. We will be coding the rovers to sense and collect water as well as test its temperature. We would test the water temperature and sense it with the water sensor (attached to breakout board) in the climate kit. We plan to incorporate that on the side(ish) of our rover. It will also be coded to collect rock samples from the moon (Lunar Highland Rocks) The robot will also have a compass and this will help us get an estimate of where each sample was tested, collected or found (kind of like a gps feature). We will have LED lights to help us see through the dark. This will probably be located all around the rover, especially the front to allow us to see what is happening, withy the help of the camera in the front. We are including a shovel to collect the samples, which will then go backwards and dump it into the storage box. We will control how much rocks we have, with the light sensor. It will be at the top of the storage unit and will be blocked when the unit is full and will come back to the base with the samples for us to analyze. Our AI will help us with noticing the different rocks, so we can collect the right ones."
