Lunar Toolbox

Designed by: Mandy

"It has ultrasonic sensors, mounted on the front arm to scan its surroundings, along with infrared sensors under its “hood” to scan the features of the surface of the moon as it travels over it. Its communication arm carries a radio sensor and radio system to allow for communication with the Lunar Gateway and/or Earth. Where to go/how to get around obstacles, where the specimens it needs to collect are located/where to deploy/place the equipment it's carrying, when to pause and recharge its batteries, and what to respond with depending on the situation. It can control the directions it drives in, use its grabby arm to do basic tasks, take photos with its camera, and send the Lunar Gateway or Earth a selection of pre-set statements and responses, or photos it’s taken.
