"My Lunar Robot named Lunox turns regolith into oxygen and other different materials. Moon regolith is the soil/rocks on the surface of the moon. Lunox picks this regolith up using a digger-like scoop and throws it into the input chamber. The regolith then moves into the heating chamber with hydrogen gas which turns it into water vapor and other materials. The oxygen in this water vapor is then extracted and transported back to the Lunar Base with the other materials by mini-rovers. This oxygen can then be stored and used to make things like rocket fuel or used by astronauts to breathe. Lunox has many different sensors including its temperature, air quality and video sensors. Lunox also has a solar panel at the back of its body to give it a source of energy. The AI inside of Lunox is critical to ensure its success. It will decide it's course of action as well as the mini-rovers' course back to the Lunar Base. The AI will also have to decide when to release the mini-rovers so they don’t get too full and possibly not make it back to the lunar base because they are too heavy. Oxygen is a much needed resource for humans to survive anywhere, making a source of it essential which is what Lunox will bring to the Moon."
