"My robot is known as the self contained agriculture mechanism, or the S.C.A.M. for short. The S.C.A.M. will tackle the duties of farming, so astronauts won’t have to spend time farming on the moon. The S.C.A.M. drives in its dome on its spiked wheels, for the least amount of contact with the plants. This robot will plant, water, and harvest the potatoes that It farms. This robot will use moisture, temperature, light, and air quality sensors to detect and change the conditions of the dome to fit the needs of the potatoes. It will use proximity, and optical sensors to find its way, and use a Nav Cam as well. This robot also uses a scale to detect when it needs to deliver the potatoes back to the storage area. The AI will decide if the temperature, light, moisture, and air quality is right, and also decide if It is time to harvest or drop off the potatoes. Based on the decisions, It will report what to do back to the dome, and the dome will adjust what it will need to. It may also decide to harvest potatoes, in which case it will harvest the potatoes with the arm that it has, but will also replant new seeds, and water them regularly."
